Why are mittens warmer than gloves?
The fingers sit together and heat one pocket of air. Gloves give each finger its own smaller space, which cools faster. The fur can be the same. The cut is what changes.
How long does real fur last?
With dry storage, gentle use, and protection from moths and heat, real fur often lasts years. Sweat, abrasion, and a soaking left to sit are what age it. This is not a warranty.
